RESISTANCE  BANDS HAVE THEIR ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES JUST LIKE FREE WEIGHTS, MACHINES AND SAND RESISTED WORKOUTS. FOR SUPERIOR CONDITIONING, COMBINE ALL THREE. I DO. RESISTANCE BANDS SHINE IN THE WAY OF SPEED AND RATE OF FORCE DEVELOPMENT. FURTHERMORE, SPEED WITH A RAPID RESISTANCE CURVE, RESULTING IN STRONG ISOMETRIC CONTRACTIONS ARE HIGHLY BENEFICIAL. RESISTANCE BANDS OFFER DECREASED ECCENTRIC RESISTANCE THROUGHOUT THE FULL RANGE OF MOTION WITH LITTLE ECCENTRIC AT THE EXTENDED POINTS RESULTING IN DECREASED FIBER MICRO INJURY. NO. THIS IS NOT THE USUAL OUTDOOR TRAINING EXPERIENCE. BY THE WAY, THE ONLY SLEDGEHAMMERING I FEEL CAN BE BENEFICIAL IS REAL SLEDGEHAMMERING UPON REAL ROCKS. I HAVE DONE THIS WORKOUT OUT WEST AND WOULD COME HOME BLOODY WITH ROCK SHRAPNEL WHILE WEARING GOGGLES TO PROTECT MY EYES FROM GOING BLIND. UNTIL I CAME TO THE CONCLUSION THIS IS FUN BUT......................... NOT A GOOD THING.
